Not too far over NP. I wouldn't buy it, but people around here go crazy over Wranglers.

Would you have to spend that much more to get a decent LHD one? And the frame ... all that time in Alaska. What is hidden?

I have no idea what the market for these is like, but logic says crack pipe.

I drove a RHD Jag on winding MD roads, made a few turns - not something I want to do every day.

Partial restoration makes me think they painted over the bad stuff. We briefly had a couple jeeps. One was a 78(?) with a CSB and 4 speed. The other was a modified rock crawler 88(?). Both cheaper and more interesting than this. They're hiking it up in large part for RHD. I've seen the way mail carriers drive and would never own an old mail truck.

I imagine it would be unnerving. Although I suppose you'd get used to it.

At least for me, RHD makes it less desireable. And again it boils down to getting a mechanic to look it over stem to stern. You'd need an expert to know the areas where rust shows up, etc. Like an old 911, you want someone who knows.

same here. It'd be fun to drive a couple times but the novelty would wear off fast
